announcement

Dear Parents,

A warm greeting to you and your family!

As we are now approaching the start of this school year, I would once again thank you for being so cooperative and supportive in your child’s education, welfare and development.  Thus, we exhort you to continue in this journey of laying down strong foundation for your children’s future through education.

With the vision to produce well-rounded, balanced, responsible, ethical young leaders, we, the team of Kinder Creche Co. would like to inform you that we will now be transferring to our new school site in A.B Fernandez Avenue, Dagupan City (behind Philam Life Building) with our 3 storey building, equipped with an international school standard classrooms, complete laboratory equipment, library and 400 square-meter garden as “Oakridge International School of Young Leaders”, upholding world class education in our very own Dagupan City. Our mission is to improve the education of children and their teachers by applying to the educational process all available knowledge about learning and growth, and by connecting teaching and learning meaningfully to the outside world. In so doing, we seek to strengthen not only individuals, but the community as well, including family, school, and the larger society in which adults and children, in all their diversity, interact and learn. We see in education the opportunity to build a better society.

Education at Oakridge International School of Young Leaders is experience-based, interdisciplinary, and collaborative. The emphasis is on educating the whole child -- the entire emotional, social, physical, and intellectual being -- while at the same time, the child's integrity as learner, teacher, and classmate is valued and reinforced. The School is divided into Preschool, Middle, and Upper Schools in order to accommodate the differing developmental stages and curriculum needs of children. The school offers a rich learning environment, which embodies all the principles of children's growth and learning that were derived from various philosophies in education, coupled with progressive education, and demonstrates the "ideal" representation of our philosophy in action. Our school also serves as a benchmark of the kind of education that Kinder Creche Co. is working to provide for the past 3 years. Oakridge International School of Young Leaders has an administration building and a three-story building, which will be complete for the next 2 years, on East A.B Fernandez Ave. on Dagupan City East side. The Preschool occupies the first floor, while the middle and upper school occupies the second, and third floors of the building, and the library, computer, foreign language, physical education facilities, and cafeteria on the administration building.

Furthermore, We will be offering preschool (Toddlers (0-2), Junior Nursery (2-3), Senior Nursery(3-4),Kinder (4-5), Preparatory to Gradeschool (5-6), 1st Grade (7), 2nd grade (8) and 3rd grade (9) for the school year 2009-2010. And by June 2010, we will be operating our Middle School.

This is a beginning, not an end. The plan gives our constituents—including parents,

faculty, the School’s Leadership Committee (administration), and community—a solid set of goals and strategies to see where we are going and how we are getting there.

Thank you very much!

For the success of every learner and for the GREATER DAGUPAN,

Teacher Ai
